8-Week Online Summer Session

The Summer Intensive Portuguese Institute (SIPI) is a special eight-week program for those who wish to study beginning Brazilian Portuguese. While optimized for learners who have studied a Romance language, all undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult learners are eligible to apply. Students learn speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills though online classroom instruction and a full range of events. Instruction for Summer 2025 is five days a week from 9:00am-11:00am C.T. to 12:00pm-2:00pm C.T.
